Monochrome Fashion

Happy new week everyone.....I hope you all had great weekend

So monochrome look is basically a case of how to wear black and white. Black and white may not seem like the two most interesting colour choices for an outfit but the stark contrast gives you a clean, well defined look. The lack of colour also gives way for more interesting patterns and styles.

I like to wear my monochromic outfit for lazy days...in this post I did a black skirt and black and white top. As you know I'm a little extra so they are not simple pieces. I think when you wear black and white always put on some red stick for a pop of colour or even red shoes. This is a work look for the days you are too tired....

I pray you enjoy your week....till next time STAY BLESSED

The Layered Skirt

Back AGAIN with another lovely skirt, hey everybody.........
I adore this skirt because it's modest yet has such a playful, flouncy look. For a summer refreshing look, wearing a layered skirt and a white top can be so easy to put together. This outfit simply demands attention and the weather here is so UNREAL! So gorgeous and sunny.

It's no secret that ruffles are my absolute favourite trend of the season (or any season for that matter). Whether I'm styling for my Instagram or inspiring looks for my style board, ruffles always seem to make an appearance. As with anything else voluminous, balance is key. If the volume is on top, you'll want to keep your bottom item simple and sleek. For example in this post I styled a simple top with a layered midi skirt and no fuss accessories. It still made a statement.

When I saw this skirt from Jan Jam I knew it belonged in my closet...It's feminine and so Hollywood. ..lol. If you would like to rock yours a pair of open toe sandals would also be nice...

Thank you for stopping by....xo

Easter Fashion

Greetings to you my fabulous readers and hope you are having a super good Friday....

Do you have some original ways to style your happy yellow dress? I had to pull out my dramatic earrings.
This is such a bright summery dress and the fit of this dress is super comfortable and lightweight. The length hits just at the right spot on my leg. To be honest I knew when I bought this dress that it could be everywhere so I had to style mine in a creative way.

You can wear this dress with flats and rock it at a picnic or for a fun afternoon in the park with the kids. Enjoy you Easter holiday and may God bless you abundantly.
I hope this dress brought just as much sunshine to your day as it did to mine!

Business Formal

Happy new week amazing people, I hope you are out there slaying your goals and dressing well while at it.

Business formal usually means wearing a suit, tie, dress or slacks. In a professional setting wear clothes that fit(not too tight). Remember your wardrobe is a sign of your professionalism. Monday is always a good day to look your best to boost your confidence.

In cold weather you can add a waist coat underneath your blazer like I did in this post. If you wear a dress suit be sure to add a pair of pantyhose and closed high heels. Avoid Sandals, chunky heels or platforms, but you can get away with kitten heels if you are not into very high heels.

And remember wearing some make-up for a polished look is better than wearing non. As for jewelry opt for studs instead of long dangling earrings. Lastly add a watch and you are good to go.
I hope you like this simple look for work, let me know...................until next time xoxo

Dinner time fine

Greetings to you my lovely people.

If you are going out for dinner with friends or in laws this is the prefect dress to wear because you will look decent yet sexy at the same time. This dress I'm wearing is one of the most flattering dresses I own and I love it.

If you are looking for a super stylish dress if you are in Harare I suggest you visit Jan Jam Ladies- Wear for a dress like this. Its one of those dresses you can wear over and over again and you can play around with different coloured shoes.

I hope you like it....

Suit up

Power suit Monday

Suit up and look sharp its Monday..........greetings everyone.
Most people will tell you that professional women should buy a navy suit or a dark charcoal suit or the beloved black but I say gone are those days.....now you can have all shades of blue and other bright colours too. If you are only buying one or two suits do your best to avoid pinstripes- they tend to be more memorable, harder to accessorize and pieces tend to be harder to wear as separates.

From a practical perspective, sleeves are good but when its summer don't be afraid to buy a sleeveless suit then add a long sleeved shirt inside like I did on this look. A white blouse or shirt is always safe when it comes to a suit. If you decide to wear the suit at work then opt for a closed-toe pump that you can walk in at least for hours....and carry a pair of brogues for when you can't do the heels anymore.

As for jewellery - think conservative here and carry what I call a solid bag. Remember tailoring your suit is always the best. This look makes me stand out and I can't get enough of it. I hope you like it as much as I do.
Thanks for reading.......see you next time.
