Rain Drops

Its been raining so much in Zimbabwe lately we are so blessed.Having to photograph an outfit post (or two) when it's chucking it down outside is one of the most frustrating challenges a blogger can face but
sometimes you've just got to work with the rain, rather than against it.

So below are a few pictures of my very interesting outfit by Maita Marimo. Light was a big challenge but here you go anyway.

Maita Marimo is a Zimbabwean fashion designer. She first showed signs of her future flair from an early age; she was the youngest recipient to win the 2003 COTTCO Fashion Designer of the year award.

In 2007, Maita was selected to represent Zimbabwe at the Tribal Fusion show in South Africa. In 2008 she received a scholarship to study for a Bachelor of Arts at the prestigious School of The Art Institution of Chicago (S.A.I.C). She studied but was eager to get started on her ready-to-wear line, so she returned home to set up her studio in Harare. She launched her self-named brand in 2010, showcasing her first collection at a fashion show that was sponsored by the Embassy of Spain.

Happy Tuesday i hope you are all having a good start to the week.
A cape, whether it’s worn as a coat or a blazer, gives a touch of elegance to any outfit you have on. so I thought it would be a bit more fun to layer with this cape blazer instead of a normal one. I love how this bandage dress fits and NUDE was just the perfect color to pair it up with.

Floral Fun

Florals never go out of season, a floral dress is the perfect solution to brighten up your day. A floral dress has to be your summer staple. I rocked mine that I got from Truworths Zimbabwe and I just love the mixture of colors on it.

Sexy but decent

I like my own fashion, not keeping to date with it. I enjoy creating my own style its so much fun and I get to learn a lot.
