Greetings to you all my fashion lovers so glad to be back, so sorry for going MIA.

A red suit is a real fashion statement – there is no way you will not catch everyone’s attention when entering a room wearing this outfit. Suits are a wonderful alternative to dresses and they are certainly not only meant for the gender men. There are so many different types of suits that you can wear for different occasions. They are not strictly business outfits, they can be casual street wear or an elegant evening wear – it always depends on the material and cut and on the accessories you style them with. For example if you take a business suit and wear it with a casual t-shirt under the jacket and with sneakers you will have a cool street outfit. Or if you style it with a silk top and high heels you have a chic evening dress.

I love different and unusual cuts in the jackets. The suit you can see me wearing in this picture has a cute and romantic cut – it gives the impression of a modern little red riding hood. This slim cut red suit is from Dee’s Shoe Hab a shop based in Harare.

Chasing Denim

Greetings to you all my lovely people....Happy Fashion Friday

Zimbabwean women are buying more jeans - skinny jeans especially, so retailers are stocking lots of them in new cuts, colours and styles but for me the fitting is everything so I prefer Sissy boy jeans, Guess Jeans and jeans from River island.

Today I want to focus more on denim jackets. It seems people are starting to show more and more interest in jeans again. A Zimbabwean designer called Ric of the brand Chasers Clothing designs some mean denim jackets. After I saw the shoe bunny Pokello (fashion plug) rocking one of his designs I just had to get one for myself and so I opted for the longer version of his denim jacket designs as I was preparing for winter. As you all know by now that denim on denim is back in fashion. This jacket is a must have.

I like to play with distressed details, rips and tears. Denim is casual by itself, so you are free to play with it in different ways. I love high heels but you can do the same look with a pair of sneakers.
I hope you like my look I wore my jacket with a pair of jeans from River Island and it has my name on it, how cool is that. I'm also wearing a t shirt by a local designer representing my city Harare.

Sunday's Best

Greetings to you all lovely people...I hope you had a wonderful weekend and you are preparing for church today.
When picking out Sunday clothing the first important thing is to consider comfort. The point of church outfits is to feel free and comfortable. I'm not saying wear flip flops and shorts but you have to feel confident and only focus on God so nothing disturbs your feelings and thoughts. Do not wear clear or transparent clothes to church.

I wanted something fresh so in this post I decided to wear my fancy hat called a Hatinator. Its the perfect accessory for church. Its a little cold so I decided to wear a coat on top of my black dress. I hope you like the ensemble...until next time *xxx*

Knitted Up

Winter is always a great time to experiment with chunkier items of clothing. I'm a huge fan of this tan cable knit dress because of how cosy it is, not mentioning, very easy to wear.

This Cable Knit Sweater Dress is a seasonal staple mainly due to how versatile it is: you can literally layer it with a coat or jacket (long or short|), or one of my favourites, the short black leather or denim jacket look.

The best part of this look is that it can be dressed up or down quite easily, making it fashionably functional. Pair this with some knee length boots for a more sophisticated look or keep it funky with some sneakers, either way its a good look

Floral Fun

Hey everyone how hope you are all good. I had some exams that were keeping me busy but I'm glad to be back now. Today's post is about this amazing floral dress I found in the streets of Harare...

Your wardrobe is incomplete without a floral dress, you gotta have 1 or 2 in your wardrobe to raise your style quotient. Floral is one of the prettiest patterns of dresses which can never fail to get adored by everyone.

This dress is extremely quintessential for a summer party or date I am so in love with it. every time I wear this dress I feel like I'm spreading some floral magic lol...It's a dress with a unique design - a must have.

Monochrome Fashion

Happy new week everyone.....I hope you all had great weekend

So monochrome look is basically a case of how to wear black and white. Black and white may not seem like the two most interesting colour choices for an outfit but the stark contrast gives you a clean, well defined look. The lack of colour also gives way for more interesting patterns and styles.

I like to wear my monochromic outfit for lazy days...in this post I did a black skirt and black and white top. As you know I'm a little extra so they are not simple pieces. I think when you wear black and white always put on some red stick for a pop of colour or even red shoes. This is a work look for the days you are too tired....

The Layered Skirt

Back AGAIN with another lovely skirt, hey everybody.........
I adore this skirt because it's modest yet has such a playful, flouncy look. For a summer refreshing look, wearing a layered skirt and a white top can be so easy to put together. This outfit simply demands attention and the weather here is so UNREAL! So gorgeous and sunny.

It's no secret that ruffles are my absolute favourite trend of the season (or any season for that matter). Whether I'm styling for my Instagram or inspiring looks for my style board, ruffles always seem to make an appearance. As with anything else voluminous, balance is key. If the volume is on top, you'll want to keep your bottom item simple and sleek. For example in this post I styled a simple top with a layered midi skirt and no fuss accessories. It still made a statement.

When I saw this skirt from Jan Jam I knew it belonged in my closet...It's feminine and so Hollywood. ..lol. If you would like to rock yours a pair of open toe sandals would also be nice...
